At Gourikwa Reserve (Formerly known as Reins Reserve) we have 5km of privately owned, unspoilt coastline all to yourself!
For years this Reserve has been a prime area for exceptional fishing. You will see the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra and Eland grazing amid 2000ha of pristine fynbos and indigenous fauna and flora.
Whether you are craving a weekend breakaway or a longer holiday escape, Gourikwa Reserve’s spacious self-catering houses will certainly surpass your expectations. All units have recently been refurbished; guests can choose from Fisherman Houses or the more luxurious Cottages. Some units you can almost sit on your “stoep” with the fishing rod. The Ystervark lighthouse is on our property and day visitors are welcome to pop in for a photo! Ps. Lighthouse is the BEST fishing spot 😊
